Available Volunteer Positions

 

Educator

This role is for individuals who can teach, explain ideas clearly, and facilitate learning sessions for different groups.

Criteria:

  • Strong communication and public speaking skills
  • Natural ability to teach and explain ideas clearly
  • Confidence facilitating small and large groups
  • Passion for education, advocacy, and community impact
  • Previous teaching, training, mentoring, counselling, facilitation, or public speaking experience is an advantage

Media Presenter

This role is for confident speakers who can communicate clearly on camera and help present the organization’s message to the public.

Criteria:

  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Excellent command of spoken English
  • Confidence speaking in front of a camera
  • Clear articulation and good presentation skills
  • Previous experience in public speaking, content creation, presenting, broadcasting, hosting, acting, or media is an advantage but not required

Data Officer

This role is for detail-oriented individuals who can record, organize, and manage information accurately.

Criteria:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organizational skills
  • Basic spreadsheet knowledge
  • Ability to record information accurately
  • Reliability and patience
  • Respect for confidentiality and sensitive information
  • Ability to work calmly during events
  • Experience with Google Sheets, Excel, forms, or data entry is an advantage

Host

This role is for individuals who are confident, warm, and comfortable guiding conversations or moderating events.

Criteria:

  • Strong public speaking and communication skills
  • Confidence speaking in front of large groups
  • Ability to command a room while maintaining professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal and people skills
  • Previous experience in hosting, public speaking, event moderation, anchoring, or stage management is an advantage

Photographer

This role is for individuals with an eye for visual storytelling and impact-driven photography.

Criteria:

  • Basic to intermediate photography skills
  • Strong eye for storytelling and visual composition
  • Interest in documentary and impact-driven photography
  • Attention to detail
  • Creativity and visual awareness
  • Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and improve
  • Reliability and ability to work during outreach activities and events

Videographer

This role is for creatives who can capture meaningful visual stories through video.

Criteria:

  • Basic to intermediate videography skills
  • Understanding of visual storytelling
  • Attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Reliability and availability for outreach programmes and events
  • Experience with editing software such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools is an advantage

Development Officer

This role is for individuals who can support partnerships, stakeholder engagement, fundraising, and organizational growth.

Criteria:

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence engaging with professionals, organizations, and potential partners
  • Professionalism and good judgment
  • Interest in nonprofit development, fundraising, and advocacy
  • Previous experience in partnerships, sales, fundraising, marketing, public relations, or grant writing is an advantage but not required
